"People may not be able to choose birth, but we can choose to be." It was the motto that gave power to life to Lt. Constable Jirayusuksuna, or "Bum", that allowed her to overcome many problems and obstacles.

One of the things that has made it to this day is the gratitude to the parents and benefactors. "Bum" Jirayu Sukna said that before he could study like a friend, he had to pay for hardship. He had to work to support his family before and after coming home from school. He worked on everything that helped him to have a self-help fund besides the money that his mother and brother had sent him monthly, such as picking corn, washing laundry, ironing, studying, etc. As difficult as life was, he never regretted nor discouraged. He took these adversities as a driving force to fight and never blamed or angered his parents despite the many problems in the family, but he would remember and try to repay his grace to the best of his ability.

"Bum" Jirayusukna added that amid the monsoon, life problems and hardships, he is lucky that he has compassionate people to support, help, guide and give advice in the right way. He has been helped with scholarships from universities and faculties as well as organizations and foundations from the first year to graduation. Therefore, without parents, teachers, relatives, benevolent friends, as well as faculty and Ubon Ratchathani University, he would never have this day. He has always believed that this gratitude will be a protection for us from various dangers.and will lead us to prosperity in life forever

It is considered a good example of commitment to life from grassroots life. A hardworking peasant child who is diligent, patient, adheres to ideology. Combined with having gratitude, you make "Bum" Jirayu Sukna to step up to the great success of life at a young age. It is a good educational role model. It is another product of pride of Ubon Ratchathani University graduates who are ready to bring virtue along with knowledge to Thai society. According to the resolution of Ubon Ratchathani University, "Develop knowledge, strive for wisdom, with moral values."
