- Move the procession of Phra Kaew Busarakam from Uprat Road in front of Sri Ubon Rattana Ram Temple and turn left to Thani Dam Road, turn right on the highway road, turn right through Phromthep Road, turn right through Uprat Road and end at Sri Ubon Rattana Ram Temple.

forพระแก้วบุษราคัมIt is an ancient Buddha statue around the age of the 22nd - 23rd century. Pang Marwichai is made of honey-colored glass (yellow) with a lap width of 3 inches and a height of 4 inches. It is an important Buddha statue in Ubon Ratchathani province.
According to legend, Phra Kaew Butsarakum is the property of Viceroy Nong, City Lord of Khun Khan Dam, Kaew Bua Baan, the son of Saenthip Nabu, and the first royal dynasty of Saenthip Nabu, and has passed down to the generation of Phra Ta, the son of Viceroy Nong.
Later, in 2314, the city of Khan Kab Kaew, Bua Baan, was raised by Lord Siri Boonsarn of Vientiane to beat Phra Ta to death in the battlefield. His son was Phra Wo (Vorarajakdee) Thao Kham Pow (Phra Pathum Worarajsuriyawong), Thao Thid Phromthao Kamsothao Khamsu Thao Kham Khui. Therefore, he fled the battle to build a town house at Ban Don Madang, Ubon Ratchathani province. He also invited Phra Kaew Busarakam.
When the elder Phra Vo passed away, Thao Kham Pow (Phra Pathum Voraraj Suriyawongse) built the Luang Temple as the first temple. The Phra Kaew Hall was built to enshrine Phra Kaew Busarakam.
During the reign of King Rama V of Rattanakosin, the governor was ordered to supervise the city, causing the son of Khum, the governor of that time, to fear that the governor would seek the treasure of the city for his own. Therefore, he took the Phra Kaew from the Luang Temple and hid it at Baan Wang Sang Hung.
Until the Uparach Master (Pratakul Na Ubon) built Sri Thong Temple (now Sri Ubon Rattanaram Temple).therefore invite Phra Kaew Busarakham to be enshrined at Sri Ubon Rattana Temple to this day. In normal times, Phra Kaew Busarakham will only be enshrined in a glass cabinet in the chapel. But in Songkran festival, the temple will be invited down to allow people to swim together.
