The year 2026 was another year that the people of Dej-Udom District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, had a story to be proud of, including the success of Ton Tien Wat Mueang Dej, the advancement to the national stage of the Dej-Decha country band, and the work of the two Thai national team athletes "Kai" Wimolrat Tanaphan and "Thip" Orawan Paranang, who joined together to create a reputation for their hometown through international competitions.

This year's work conveyed the story of "Phra Public A", which persevered through details, carvings, and elements of large candlesticks. The award was shared by the temple candlestickers and the people who contributed to make Desh's work visible to the audience at Ubon Ratchathani's important traditions.

ชัยชนะครั้งนี้เป็นแชมป์เอเชียสมัยที่ 4 ของทีมสาวไทย และยังทำให้ทีมวอลเลย์บอลหญิงไทยได้รับสิทธิ์เข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน โอลิมปิกเกมส์ ลอสแอนเจลิส 2028 เป็นครั้งแรกในประวัติศาสตร์ การมีนักกีฬาจากเดชอุดมร่วมอยู่ในทีมชุดสำคัญจึงเป็นอีกความทรงจำที่ชาวบ้านเกิดได้ร่วมยินดี

“น้องทิพย์” คว้าเหรียญทองแดงหญิงคู่ เอเชียนเกมส์ 2026

อีกหนึ่งผลงานบนเวทีกีฬานานาชาติเป็นของ “ทิพย์” อรวรรณ พาระนัง นักกีฬาเทเบิลเทนนิสทีมชาติไทยชาวอำเภอเดชอุดม ซึ่งจับคู่กับ “หญิง” สุธาสินี เสวตรบุตร คว้าเหรียญทองแดงประเภทหญิงคู่ ในการแข่งขันเอเชียนเกมส์ ครั้งที่ 20 “ไอจิ–นาโกย่า 2026” ประเทศญี่ปุ่น

ทั้งคู่ผ่านรอบก่อนรองชนะเลิศด้วยชัยชนะเหนือคู่จากเกาหลีใต้ 3–2 เกม การเข้าสู่รอบรองชนะเลิศทำให้ไทยมีเหรียญรางวัลประเภทหญิงคู่แน่นอนแล้ว และเป็นผลงานสำคัญในประวัติศาสตร์เทเบิลเทนนิสหญิงคู่ไทยในเอเชียนเกมส์

ในรอบรองชนะเลิศ คู่ของอรวรรณและสุธาสินีพ่ายคู่จากจีน 0–4 เกม ด้วยคะแนน 6–11, 8–11, 5–11 และ 6–11 จบการแข่งขันด้วยเหรียญทองแดง เพิ่มอีกหนึ่งความสำเร็จให้วงการกีฬาไทยและความภาคภูมิใจให้ชาวเดชอุดม

ความสำเร็จที่ส่งต่อแรงบันดาลใจให้บ้านเกิด

จากฝีมือช่างเทียน ความสามารถของเยาวชนบนเวทีดนตรี ไปจนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของนักกีฬาทีมชาติ ผลงานเหล่านี้แสดงให้เห็นความสามารถของคนเดชอุดมในหลายด้าน เบื้องหลังแต่ละความสำเร็จยังมีครอบครัว ครู ผู้ฝึกสอน เพื่อนร่วมทีม และชุมชนที่ร่วมสนับสนุนมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง

ปี 2569 จึงเป็น “ปีทองของคนเมืองเดช” ที่มีทั้งรางวัลอันทรงเกียรติและก้าวสำคัญให้ร่วมชื่นชม พร้อมส่งต่อแรงบันดาลใจให้เยาวชนรุ่นต่อไปกล้าฝึกฝนและพัฒนาความสามารถ เพื่อสร้างความภาคภูมิใจให้ตนเองและบ้านเกิด
