The Ubon Ratchathani Veterans Bureau brought army housewives and people in the area around the barracks to train in the invention of rainwater garlands for non-commissioned veterans and their families, creating an additional income during the Lent period for Thai Buddhist devotees to enter the temple, make merit with their families to offer as Buddhist offerings, and continue Thai culture. The monks prayed that they would stay in their Lent somewhere throughout the rainy season with a duration of 3 months. 

At the Ubon Ratchathani Veterans' Conference Room, Maj. Gen. Akrapon Munpradit, Advisor to the Director of the Veterans Affairs Organization, together with Mrs. Punchaya Bhumithanandecha, Deputy Chief of the Ubon Ratchathani Veterans' Welfare Office, led the army housewives and the people in the area around the military camp to train the invention of the raincloth steering wheel for non-commissioned veterans and their families. Ms. Palida Kananitkitpaiboon, President of the Association of Business and Professional Women of Thailand, Ms. Anongpat Pholprasert, Secretary to the Association, and Mrs. JinattaRosachan, an Army housewife in the 22nd Army Province, was a speaker. He was honored by Mr. Phantida Mulpradert as an honorary speaker, conveying knowledge, giving marketing advice, along with Col. Simit Khumwong, the leader of Ubon Ratchathani Veterans Network, and network members participating in the training of the invention of the rainwater cloth steering wheel to present to monks during the upcoming Lent tradition in this size.
