Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administration invites people and tourists to experience the beauty of the phenomenon. “Geminid meteor shower”Annual year 2025 on 14-15 December 2025 at Pha Taem National Park, one of the dark sky reserves of Thailand, the most beautiful meteor shower phenomenon.
Mr. Kant Kalptinant, President of the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization, revealed that the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization is collaborating with Pha Taem National Park, Ubon Ratchathani University, the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Tourism and Sports Office, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and the Ubon Ratchathani Geopark. They jointly organized a project to promote and support tourism in Ubon Ratchathani Province under the activity "Observing the Geminid Meteor Shower in 2025" in order to enhance the image of astronomical tourism in the province.Create accessible astronomical learning and promote sustainable tourism with local natural and cultural resources.
