วันที่ 21 กันยายน 2568 ที่อาคารนวัตกรรมการเรียนรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ ดร.ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ศรีภา คณบดีคณะเภสัชศาสตร์ เป็นประธานเปิดงานPharmacy Week 2025 under the concept of “Pharmacist Anywhere, Pharmacist Near You” The event included a seminar on the role of the pharmacy profession in public health care, an exhibition showcasing the various roles of the pharmacy profession, and a Q&A session on health and medications.The event was attended by Pharmacist Kampee Khetmontri, Deputy Provincial Public Health Officer of Ubon Ratchathani, along with many faculty members, pharmacists, students, and high school students from across the country.
Faculty of Pharmacy Dr. Saksit Sripa, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, stated that the Pharmacy Week event, a collaboration between the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Pharmacist Network, the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Public Health Office, and the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ubon Ratchathani University, has been held annually. The aim is to foster positive values within the pharmacy profession among both pharmacists and the public, promote rational drug use, and raise awareness of the pharmacist's role in providing accurate medication counseling.To promote awareness of the role of the pharmacy profession among the public.
The event includes a seminar on the role of the pharmacy profession in public health care, featuring representatives from various pharmacy fields such as hospital pharmacists, primary care pharmacists, provincial public health office pharmacists, pharmacy pharmacists, pharmacist professors/researchers, and pharmaceutical representatives. There will also be an exhibition showcasing the diverse roles of the pharmacy profession, a Q&A session on health and medication, and fun activities with chances to win prizes.
This is another activity that fosters positive values in the pharmacy profession and disseminates comprehensive knowledge about public health. Pharmacists are experts in the use of medications for treating diseases and are a vital part of the medical profession, playing a key role in managing and advising the public on medication use to maximize effectiveness. Furthermore, this activity also serves as an inspiration for young people interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy.
