Today (24 Aug 68) 18:45 The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DAPD) notified 58 provinces in the northern, northeastern, central, southern, and Bangkok region to monitor the situation of flash floods, flooding, flooding, mudslides, and strong winds during the period of 24 – 27 August 68 by directing the province to monitor the situation and alert the people in the risk area in advance if there is likely to be a severe situation in the area and to prepare for immediate assistance in the event of a situation.

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DAPD) revealed that the Central Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Directorate (OPA) has monitored the weather conditions and considered the risk factors. Along with the Department of Meteorology, there was a notification No. 7 (210/2568) announced on August 24, 2025 on the storm "Kajiki" and heavy rainfall in Thailand. It stated that during August 24 - 27, 2025, the storm "Kajiki" will affect the northern region, northeastern region, central region, southern region and Bangkok, including 58 provinces. 

For the wind waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand are quite strong. The waves are 2 - 3 meters high. The area with thunderstorms. The waves are more than 3 meters high. Therefore, we would like to inform the monitoring area for the situation between 24 – 27 August 2025 as follows:

The Central Division of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (OAPA) by the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (PAPA) has notified 58 provinces and disaster prevention and mitigation centers in the risk areas to strictly comply with the instructions of MOT 1 and MOT 2 by being prepared to deal with heavy to heavy rainfall in some areas which may cause flooding. The staff is directed to closely monitor the weather, rainfall and water situation in the area and to arrange an operational team with disaster machinery to enter the risk area.In order to respond to the situation and provide assistance to the people in a timely manner, the officials shall monitor the risk area and be ready to respond to the situation and help the victims immediately if the situation occurs 24 hours a day. The provinces are asked to publicize the people to closely monitor weather information and news from the government. Including alerting people in the risk area in advance so that the people are prepared to respond to the situation by strictly following the instructions from the government.
